My Bio
Hello and thank you for looking at my DeviantART page. My avatar's name is Skyla Markova and my chosen art medium is digital photography. The pictures you see here are from the online game called Second Life. My character is a femme fatale and monster girl. I role play as a Dominitrix and as several different fantasy creatures. These digital photos were created within the online game using my various avatars as models. They are mostly posed shots, but some are snap shots of ongoing role plays. Some have been enhanced using Adobe Photoshop off line. Within SecondLife there are some advanced atmospheric settings called Windlight which gives you more options for lighting and atmosphere.

I disagree with DeviantArt's reporting system. I think it is too arbitrary and too easily abused by overly zealous reporters. Their standards are inconsistent and penalize artists too severely. What is the point of having a mature label if that art must still follow the standards of non-mature art? DA needs to have separate areas for adults and children.
Their biggest glaring error is the way they handle violent verses sexual situations. Showing severed heads, limbs and gallons of blood is ok, but showing a man and woman engaging in a loving, consensual sexual situation is not allowed. If the concern is that young minds would be corrupted by

Things you can do to slow down ToS abuse

In my opinion, there is a core group of about 3 to 4 dozen individuals who are the most responsible for the recent gang bang reporting. These individuals have taken it upon themselves to police everyone else in DeviantArts. Recently I had 22 images reported. NONE of them were ultimately removed by the DA admins. These Art Trolls are either very poor judges of what violates the ToS or they just did it to be vindictive. I don't mind honest violations being flagged and removed, but when you mass report images and NONE of them violates the ToS, you are abusing the reporting system.
Currently most of these individuals are hiding their activities
